International recognition: the Debrecen BSC Roundtable was nominated for the CEE BSC Summit & Awards in the category of the best university-business cooperation of the year. Supported by ten leading companies in the business services sector, including United Call Centers, the aim of the cooperation is to promote the opportunities offered by the sector in Debrecen and the region and to make available through its lectures and courses the knowledge material that is particularly useful for the career guidance of university students but can also open up new perspectives for teachers.
We asked Éva Kissné Nyéki, Project Manager of the DBSC Roundtable and Deutsche Telekom IT & Telecommunications Solutions (DT-ITS), about the significance of the CEE BSC Summit & Awards nomination.
"On March 24th, one of the most important awards gala of the BSC industry, the CEE Outsourcing Awards, will take place in Warsaw, where this year the BSC Roundtable Debrecen has also reached the final in the category Best University and Corporate Cooperation. The nomination itself is a recognition in itself, as a professional jury selects the best from more than 100 applicants. The fact that we have been placed on the professional map at the international level is a worthy confirmation of the work that the 9 member companies of the Debrecen BSC Roundtable have been doing together for the local community since 2018. Our aim is to continue to help young people acquire the specific knowledge that will support them in building successful careers through our educational activities. The nomination for the CEE BSC Summit is not the only similar event for the Roundtable at the moment, as we were recently shortlisted as one of the top 3 in the HR Best Award, also in the education category, and we are also shortlisted for the Future of Emerging Europe Awards, which will be held in Brussels in June 2022."
The Debrecen BSC Roundtable is currently organising a series of lectures at the University of Debrecen. Eva said the following about these:
"This semester we have launched our German language Career Development course, and for the second time, we have launched our French language business course at the University of Debrecen. In April, for the 4th time, we will organise our accredited teacher training programme for secondary school teachers. In addition, you can also meet us at career days and job fairs, which we will keep you informed about on our website and social media, so it's worth following the events!"
